Najrul Khasru - Chair
My name is Najrul Khasru. I was born in Bangladesh and came to the UK as a child in 1977. I qualified as a Barrister in 1987 and worked as a civil servant - training and advising magistrates. I became a Mental Health Tribunal Judge in 2003, a Social Security Tribunal Judge in 2017 and a Court of Protection Judge in 2022. I have been a member of Community Aid for many years, and in the last few years I have served as its chairperson. I am married with two daughters. I spend my free time reading books, listening to Bangla music and doing gardening.
